Our guest speaker for our April meeting will be Ammon Blair, who is now a Senior Fellow for the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Secure and Sovereign Frontier Initiative. Previously Ammon was a Consultant for Omni Intelligence, a private firm that provides intelligence and analytics services to government agencies and media regarding transnational threats to Texas and the U.S. He is an Army Veteran who served 22 years: (19 years enlisted, 3 years as an officer). His last duty assignment was as an Infantry Platoon Leader on Operation Lone Star. He also served 10 years with the Border Patrol in the Rio Grande Valley Sector.
Ammon is part of our inner circle of individuals who have been active in sounding the alarm on our border crisis. When he was a Border Patrol Agent, due to his reporting information on the border crisis to the news media and at our last Republican State Convention, the government required him to register as a Whistleblower. Much of the information that is being reported by border correspondents and the news media has been supplied by Ammon.
